19TH Japan Rwanda Youth Cooperation



Japan Rwanda Youth cooperation (JRYC)  19 th conference “JRYC 2022 conference” held in Rwanda -Kigali on 16 September 2022 to 28 September 2022 with the theme, “Thinking about the current state of globalization, its merits and demerits, and its future”.   

Japan Rwanda youth Cooperation conference is the dearest moment for both countries university students to heighten a mutual understanding through collaborative projects, Plenary sessions, study tours, culture sharing and expressions and Opportunities allocation.

After a yearlong without conference because of COVID- 19 pandemic that affected every aspect of the continent and activities of every business and Associations including JRYC, It was a great challenge to appoint a theme of the conference.

Covid -19 was and still is a global subject of discussion. However, on a close look, If you ask yourself how a corona virus first diagnosed in Wuhan-China, a capital city of Hubei province, travelled and spread globally in a blink of an eye, you would understand why we chose this theme.

 

            THINKING ABOUT THE CURRENT STATE OF GLOBALIZATION, ITS MERITS AND DEMERITS, AND ITS FUTURE.

The conference brought together Both JRYC Rwanda and Japan members.

 

This year 2022 the conference featured visits to difference parts of Rwanda, cultural exchange activities and the plenary session with the purpose to understand the stable of globalization.

 

In 12 days of the conference, we had an ample of activities, it was a tiring, amusing and enticing days for both side.

After a travel of 7323 miles from Tokyo to the beautiful and clean city Kigali for about 15 hours,15minutes to be precise ,The JRYC members arrived on 16th  September 2022 evening.

It was a very nice evening that was going to remark the beginning of Japan Rwanda youth cooperation 19th conference and strengthen ongoing fantabulous relationship between Japan and Rwanda.

 This day ended with the sharing of an amazing Kigali foods and drinks which were shared with joy and laughter.

Japan-Rwanda Youth Cooperation (JRYC) is a student-led organization between students of UR-Huye campus and students from Japan. As the name suggests, the mission of JRYC is to enhance a mutual understanding between students from both sides through collaborative activities, conferences and study tours on both sides of the world..
